Luke 6:38: Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.."
Tithing the first 10% may feel antiquated, but we believe it is an important and often difficult act of faith. Therefore, we have decided to take 10% of every purchase and place it in The Ron Ozamoto Fund.
The RoF will provide resources for those battling mental health and homelessness. In 2021, Founder Sarah Hipps met and became friends with a 60yo man who lived on the sidewalk outside of her home, Ron Ozamoto. Over the next year and half, Sarah and Ron worked to get him on lists for housing and safety. During this process, Sarah learned how difficult the navigation away from homelessness is and developed a desire to find a way to help the community in the future. In 2022, Ron died on his sidewalk, alone (his death was not properly investigated). Ron will live on in the efforts we make to help those like him and those who battle mental health issues - a subject close to Sarah’s heart as well because of her personal journey with mental health.
If you would like to donate/tithe directly to The Ron Ozamoto Fund, you can do so through Venmo: @iwillasHewills.
